The bar graphs depict the difference in exercising pattern between the sexes.
On the whole, men seem to work out the most in their younger days and are indulging is less of this when the touch middle age.
To begin with, around 53 percent men below the age of 24 years work out, but the same percentage of women tend to perform physical activities when they touch their mid fifties. This could indicate that more women tend to become more health conscious when they are older. Yet, we cannot be so sure, as between the ages of 25 to 54 years it has always been the females who exercised more often. This is evidenced by the fact that around 49 to 53 percent of the fairer sex tended to indulge in planned activities for most part of their lives.
The unique part about this is, the boys tend to be more active, but younger and older men overlooked health. Either they were couch potatoes or too negligent. This is highlighted by the fact that between the mid twenties to mid sixties the guys were always beaten by active girls. Of course, once old age steps in the trend is equalised with about equal number of old people working out or performing tasks.
Here again, women tend to take the lead, but only by a margin.
