The given chart illustrates the proportion of people watching movies in cinemas in the European country examined on 7 days in a week between 2003 and 2007.
Overall, there was a decrease seen in the share of residents going to cinemas on Tuesday and Wednesday, while on other days in a week experienced an increase in the number of people. In addition, the percentage of people going out to watch movies remained stable on Friday, and the figures for people going on Saturday were continuously the highest throughout the period.
The percentage of people watching movies in cinemas on Saturday and Sunday started at 40 percent and 30 percent, followed by a rise to around 43 percent and 32 percent respectively in 2007. Moreover, the figures for people going on Friday experienced a leveling off at 30 percent throughout the period.
16 percent of people went to the cinemas on Wednesday, with a subsequent decline to about 9 percent in the final year. Moreover, the figures for residents watching movies outside on Tuesday and Thursday started at 20 percent and 12 percent, followed by a fluctuation to approximately 17 percent and 9 percent and a final rise to 19 percent and 14 percent respectively. In addition, the percentage of people going on Monday slightly climbed up from 10 percent to 12 percent in 2003 and 2007.
