The given column graphs provide an overview of the marriage and divorce statistics, which have taken place in the eight countries during two distinct years 1981 and 1994.
It can be clearly observed in the first bar chart that in the year 1981, the count of marriages in the USA was higher than other countries, it was more than per 10 thousand people; after 13 years, the least marriages were noticed in the five countries namely: UK, Finland, Germany, France, and Italy, which accounted for lower per 6 thousand people.
Tuning to the second bar chart, in 1981, the highest rate of divorce was in the USA and UK that was over per 3 thousand people, and further, during the year 1994, again the US A and UK were at top in this rate, accounting for more than per 3 thousand people; Italy had the lowest divorce rate among all the countries.
Overall, only Denmark followed a rising trend in the figure of marriages, whereas in the divorce statistics, the USA and Denmark started declining over the period.
