Regarding the chart of once a week consumers, the figure started at 31% in 2003 then went up slightly to 34% 3 years later, which became the highest pre percentage in that year, before falling to 28% in 2013. As opposed to the pattern of people who ate junk food once or twice a week which witnessed a decline in the middle year from 30% to 25%, then rose to 34% in 2013.
The percentage of people who ate out several times a week was 18% in 2005 then reached the peak at 20% before falling to 16% at the end. 13% was the original figure of people who had junk food a few times a year then it remained unchanged in the 2 surveyed years at 15%. A similar pattern can be seen in the case of people who ate it everyday and those who never had once, starting at 4% and 5% in 2003 and stayed at 3% and 4% respectively in the two other years.
