Overall, the average prices in New York city rose between 1990-1995 and 1996-2002. While the average prices for houses in Frankfurt declined slightly.
For 1990-1995 period, the average prices for New York compared with 1989 prices was -5%. Whilst, the average prices for Madrid rose to about 3%. For Japan city, the average prices decreased dramatically to around -7%. The same level of average prices for London was noticed (-7%).
For 1996-1996-2002, New York city witnessed an increase to about 5%, which was doubled the prices in 1990-1995. Moreover, the average prices in London city witnessed a sharply increase to about 12%, which was also approximately doubled the average prices in 1990-1995 period.
To sum up, the average prices witnessed a big change between 1990-1995 and 1996-2202 compared with average prices in 1989.
