The chart below shows the number of men and women in further education in Britain in three periods and whether they were studying full time or part time

The bar chart compares the higher education in three decades in number male and female in British and either they were getting full-time education or part-time and the unit measure in thousand.

Overall, the chart shown that the higher number of women getting part-time education than compared to men however, very less quantity of female did there full-time studying while, the men ratio of full-time studying is equal to women.

In regards to male, in first decade in 1970 the male ratio of part-time studying was much high than full-time it was 1000 students were studying part-time while below from 200 thousand were studying full-time. the second and third decades shown that the part-time and full-time studying is little difference in 1980 and 1990 the part time students was around 820 and 850 thousand respectively and full time was nearly 180 and more than 200 thousand respectively.

In contrast, the female further full time and part time education in 1970 was below 800,000 and around 110,000 respectively while in remaining 2 decades it was 800,000 and 200 thousand respectively and in the last decades in 1990 it was higher in among all them and the ratio was more than 1000 part time and more than 200 full time.
