Overall, USA has highest Olympic medals among all the nations whereas Japan consists least numbers of medals.
Firstly, America has around 2300 medals that include about 900 gold, 600 silver and 800 bronze medals. It is the top position in having Olympic medals rest of the countries do not have its half either.
Moreover, soviet union secured it second position in this list by having 1000 medals and mainly gold, silver and bronze these three have equal quantity. Followed by this, Germany and Italy both are sharing same number of Olympic medals as having more than 500 medals.
Japan is a country which quite less active is Olympic and consists about 400 medals and gold, silver and bronze are equally divided.
