Writing task 1

The chart depicts the jobless issue in Australia in the year 2012.
As can be seen from the chart, the unemployment rate in rural area is always higher than big city area.
Firstly, in the first year 2012, the percentage of unemployment in countryside was exceeded than people in urban area with the former accounting for 6.5% and the later boasting 2%. Obviously, from first period, the number of people who lost their job in rural area decreased sharply from nearly 7% to 4.5%. At the same time, there was a twofold increase in urban area from 2% to 4%.
In the countryside, the percentage of unemployment situtation rise slowly by 1% in third quarter, but later remain stable at 5% until end of 2012.
In urban area, the number of jobless witness a reversed trend. Specificly, from 2nd to 3rd quarter of 2012, this rate fall dramatically by 2%, before experencing and rapidly increase and then reach a peak at 5% in the 4th quarter of 2012.
Overall, it is noticable that there are 2 general trend upwards and downwards alternately.
