The given pie charts illustrate the average percentages of sodium, saturated fat and added sugar, which all may be harmful if consumed in excess, contained in usual diets of America residents.
Overall, sodium made up close to half of dinners, but just a small fractions of snacks and breakfasts. More than one-third of dinners are composed of saturation fat, and added sugar is highest in snacks.
The first chart clearly shows that sodium make up 42% of dinners but 14% of snacks and breakfasts each. From the second pie chart, it can be observed that 37% of dinner is saturated fat, and just 21% in snacks. Also, added sugar is highly concentrated in in snacks at 42%, and less in breakfasts at 16%; according to the last chart. Comparing the data, dinners contain the biggest ratio of sodium and saturated fat; snacks have the largest share of added sugar and lowest sodium. Whereas, breakfasts are composed of the least percentage of all the nutrients.
