The charts show average levels of participation in education and the highest education level of adults from 2000 to 2010 in Singapore.

The bar chart illustrates the average number of years males and females attended school while the pie charts present the different levels of education achieved by adults in Singapore between 2000 and 2010.

Generally, the average number of years that a boy spent on learning higher than that of women over the period shown. Additionally, the time used schooling and the levels of education dwellers also rose.

According to the bar chart, in 2000, the number of years females attended school in 2008 which remained unchanged until 2008, and then rose to 8,9 years in 2010. In contrast, male citizens spent an average of 8,9 years in school, which rose considerably to almost 12 years in 2010.

As can be seen from the pie charts, in 2000, the number of people are masters and college graduates only accounted for a small number in all over Singapore, 7.5% and 8.3% sequentially. In contrast, almost one-third of Singapore's population finished high school, the sum of Singaporean who only got through primary and secondary school was quite high, at around 26% each. However, only after 10 years, the levels of education residents dramatically raised, with 30,30% and 33% of Singapore adults reached the levels as university and master degrees respectively. Meanwhile, other qualifications accounted for a lower percentage at about 19%, 15%, and 2% corresponding to High, Secondary and Primary School.
