The process diagrams reveal information about steps and tools used in the process of making cement, and how cement is used in concrete production for construction motives.
Overall, the cement-making process is complex and it consists of numerous stages and requires various equipment. In contrast, concrete production is straight-forward and need only a few ingredients.
To begin with, limestone and clay are poured into a crusher. Then, the crusher makes powder of limestone and clay. After that, this power goes to mixer, followed by rotating heater, where it gets heated by fire, which comes from other sides of rotating heater. Then after, the heated powder goes to grinder. Finally, the ready content, called cement is ready to be put in the bags and be used in concrete-making process.
The process of manufacturing concrete is quit simple. It starts with mixing of cement, water, sand and gravel, which means small stones together. The proportion of each component is 15%, 10%, 25%, and 50%, respectively. All this four components goes to the concrete mixer, which rotates in a clockwise direction.
