The diagram below shows how the matches are made with several stages and machines.

At the start, the log is set into the Peeler and rotated. While the log is rotated ,the blade slices it into the veneer from the surface of the log. Then, the veneer is chopped with chopper to the small sticks. These sticks are dipped in to Ammonium Phosphate tank. After that, these coated sticks are put in the dryer, and fallen in the hopper while the dryer is rotating. There is the blower blows the matches through the metal duct to the storage area.

The next steps, matches from storage area are conveyed to the inserter. The inserter insert these matches into the perforated steel belt. Afterwards, the matches are moved to 3 tanks: paraffin wax tank, based chemicals tank, tip chemicals tank and soaked into these tanks. From there, the belt continue rotating and move the matches to drying area for drying. And the last step of the process is packaging in packaging area.

Overall, the procedure for making matches are cutting, chemicals treating, drying and then packaging.
