The presented flow chart describes how water circulates in nature.
Generally, there are 3 main stages in the process, beginning with the vaporization of water and ending with its recurrence to the sea.
Turning into detail, the process commences when water, 80% of which stems from the sea, exposes to sunlight and forms vapor. This period results in cloud generation by the condensation of water vapor. Following this, rainfall is created when the water accumulation in clouds exceeds its limit.
In the next stage, there are two ways by which precipitation is treated. Firstly, water from precipitation may pour down and be accumulated in lakes. Another way is that along with melting snow, it contributes to the formation of ground water, which then flows back to the ocean in the presence of land’s impervious layer. Finally, the intrusion of salt water occurs as a result of the interaction between the ocean and freshwater aquifer.
