The diagrams illustrate the structure of a wave-energy machine in the first image and situation of such machine in relation to the closeness and waves of water.
Overall, the wave-energy machine is rectangular in shape and consists of two almost equal size chambers ( bottom and top) divided by a wall in between, which has two opening for air passage. Likewise, there are two choices for installation of this machine, close or away from the shore.
In regards to the design of the wave-energy machine, it has two chamber with a divider in the middle which has two opening on each side controlled by two one way valves. Over half of the bottom chamber is filled with water, which is coming from one way movement of waves through the opening at the right side of the bottom. The water evaporate and become hot and light air. This hot air enter into the upper vessel through the left sided entrance of the divider and made the turbine wheels spin and finally escape at the top right side of the machine. As a result of the rotatory effect of wheels electricity is produced and stored in generator for future use. Furthermore, cool air entering the machine through the upper left side, make the wheels stop rotating and finally exit through the one way valve at the middle divider to the lower chamber.
on the other hand, there can be two possible locations of wave-energy machine. One of them is situated close to the shore, on shallow waves which is small in size and installation cost is low. This type of machine produces low amount of energy from small waves. Conversely the one which is further away from the shore located in deep water level. This variety is larger in size, installation cost is high and generate higher amount of energy from large-waves.
