The most power utilised by heating and water heating, 42 percent and 30 percent, respectively; however, coming to emission, heating plunged considerable, while water heating increased by a tiny fraction, becoming one of the third percent of the whole emission. Meanwhile, other appliances consumed 15 percent of energy consumption, releasing 28 percent of greenhouse gases.
In contrast, cooling and lighting had lowest fractions 3 percent and 8 percent, respectively. At that time their emission volume doubled. According to refrigeration, its emission was 2 times more than usage 14 percent to 7 percent.
In summary, according to chart it is clear that Australian household’s greenhouse gas emission was roughly two times more than consumption. However, heating was exception in this situation.
