The supplied pie charts compare changes the shares of six major items namely, heating, water heating, cooling, lighting, refigeration and other appliances reveals how the amount of energy and greenhouse gas emissions consumed in Australia.

Overall, the share of three items such as heating, water heating and other appliances remaining two. Moreover, water heating share contributed the largest portion whereas, cooling had the smallest share.

It is noticeable that, heating accounted for the most striking portion compared to other share ( just over 42%). By contrast, the share of refigeration has been a slight reached at 7% in an average Australian household energy and soaring 7% in the Australian greenhouse gas emissions. According to the given information, the portion of cooling depended considerably for just well under 2% and 3% respectively in both energy and greenhouse gas emissions. The share of lighting had replaced the weakest share (4%) but, it has been a gradual rocket to 4% in greenhouse gas emissions. Lastly, contribution of other appliances item followed by a sufficient surge to 15% in consumption of the energy and the percentage of 28% in the greenhouse gas emissions.
