The graph and table below give information about water use worldwide and water consumption in two different countries.
The graph illustrates, the ratio of water uses world widely in three different sectors between the period of 1900 and 2000, whereas, the table provides the information of consumption of water in Brazil and Congo in 2000.
Overall, in agricultural sector, the maximum level of water was used in whole world, however industrial sector and domestic are in second and third position respectively.
To begin with, in 1900 the same level proportion of water, approximately 100 KM3 was used in both, industrial and domestic use, although, agricultural sector exceed by 500%. Till 1920, both sector ratio was almost in same level, but from 1920, people start using more water in industrial sector. From 1920 to 1950, there was tiny portion of differences, afterward, water using level in industrial sector made rapid growth and reached roughly 1000 km3 in 2000 and exceed domestic sector by 700 km3. Similarly, the water used in agricultural sector goes on upward trend whole time period and arrived around 3000 km3 in 2000 , as the highest point in graph.
As per the information provided by the table, Brazil used maximum level of water than Congo. Although, Brazil’s population and agricultural land was also highest in comparison to Congo, when, 359m3 was consumed by Brazil, where only 8m3 was used by Congo.
