The line graph gives that USA energy consumption by fuel between 1980 and 2030.

It is clear that petrol and oil, coal, natural gas had rose steadily while nuclear, solar and hydropower had remained high. We can also see that petrol and oil used much in USA.

Since 1980, petrol and oil, coal and natural gas stood at around 35, 17 and 20 quadrillion units respectively. While the figures for petrol and coal will remain high, reaching a peak of almost 50 and 30 quadrillion units in 2030, respectively, the rates of natural gas is expected to stand at around 25 quadrillion units from 2015 to 2030.

In year 1980, both nuclear, solar and hydropower had reached approximately 4 quadrillion units. And the figures for them were most common from the late 1980’s onwards although there were little change in the figures for this category. The nuclear rates will be considerably higher than solar and hydropower. The rate of hydropower is predicted to saw a small decrease to nearly 3 quadrillion units a period of 20 years.
