The line chart gives information about how many enquiries that were sent to the Tourist Information Office in an urban area by all 3 types of communication over a period of 6 months from January to June in 2011.
Overall, letter or email was not well-liked by citizens and had a tendency to decrease, while face-to-face interaction and telephone dramatically increased throughout the research.
At the beginning of the period, just 400 customers chose to go directly to the Office in order to exchange information, which was the lowest number at that time. However, the number of people who used in-person communication was rise gradually 2 months after, then continuously boomed and reached a peak at around 1900 in June. The same went with telephone service. Apart from a slight decline in February, the figure for users of telephone service had a considerable increase over the period.
In contrast, letter/email began with a high number in January, at under 800 customers. Nevertheless, it went down slightly to approximately 700 in March and significantly decreased in the next 2 months before fluctuating under 400 in the final 2 months of the period.
