The line graph provides information about the rate of four materials recycled over a period of 28 years in a particular country. It can be seen form the graph that there was a slight increase for glass containers, while Paper and cardboard declined minimally between 1994 and 2010, although the figure of two materials had a similar period before. The proportion of paper and cardboard accounted for the highest rate with over 60 % in most of the period. In 1990, both recycled materials bottomed out with ratios of 40% for paper & cardboard and 63% for glass containers respectively. Over 80% of paper & cardboard were recycled in 1994, higher than 1.5 times when compared with glass containers at the same time.
