The provided bar chart illustrates the five preferred country to immigrate by British people. Namely, Australia, New Zealand, USA and France from 2004 to 2007.

Overall, Australia was by far the most favored country of destination by British immigrants over the period of four years, while New Zealand and USA were the least number of British Migrants in 2004 to 2007.

As we can see in the given chart, the number of British migrants in Australia in 2006 were well beyond than the average of four other countries. About 52,000 British settler in Australia during this period. However, there was a decline in the number of migrants in 2007 which is approximately 6000 migrants, this is almost similar in terms of the proportion in the past two years (2004 - 2005), which is just below 44,000 migrants. On the contrary, Australia maintained the most favorite destination of British migrants among 4 major countries.

Spain ranked the second country of choice by British migrants as well as France in 2005. Their average number in Spain from 2004 to 2006 was almost the same which was just above 30,000 migrants. This is exactly similar in France in the year 2005 with approximately 33,000 migrants.
This two country were practically the same migration rate in the year 2007 in Spain and France in 2006 which was just beneath 30,000 immigrants.

Additionally, New Zealand was the third popular country among British newcomer yet there is slow decline with the number of migrants during the period of four years. It decreased from 33,000 to 20,000.
USA, New Zealand including France in 2004 were almost similar with the number of migrants which beyond 15,000 British migrants.
The USA in 2005 got the lowest level of British immigrants among the five mentioned countries, identical to France in the year 2007.
