The map below is of the town of Canterbury. A new school(s) is planned for the area. The map shows two possible sites for the school.

The map depicts the town of the Canterbury which includes Country side, housing, main roads, town centre and university. At a glands S1 and S2 are two sites which are peferrable areas planned to built a new school.

In terms of site S1 placed at country side. From the town centre to country side the length is at about 5km to Sturry and the total population around 7000. Despite being,m the length of place is less but the population is high. Then, the North region of the country side situated at University. Subsequently, housing also occurs in between the country side and town centre which is no traffic zone.

In case of site S2, which is passed over through the corner of the east part of the country side that is approximately 7 km to Chartham. However, the population being 4500. Inspite of the distance become longer, even though the population range become less. So there is no chances to get more students from S2 location.

Having decoded the map, S1 is suitable location to build up a new school because, the population is higher than the S2 location.
