The maps elucidate the alterations in the centre of a slight city which called as Islip between 2010 and 2015. At first glance, it is evident that the most noticeable changes occurred for the existence of the dual carriageway in 2015.
To begin with the north part of the town, the presence of new shopping centre, new bus station and new car park, and new housing had replaced the position of the shops and the countryside in previous time. To the middle of the dual carriageway, there was a new pedestrians’ road which constructed in the place of the main road in 2010.
In accordance with the other changes, 2010 to 2015 witnessed a dramatic alteration for the existence of new dual carriageway where it surrounds numerous facilities in the centre of the town. Furthermore, there was new houses and new park, which was renovated to be a smaller park in the south of the new car park. In contrast, the position of the school and the shops, which were located in the south side of pedestrian’ road, remained unchanged over the entire period.
