As seen in the diagram, dual carriageway is planned to sorround the center of the Islip town in a circular area. In the center of the Islip town, the main road would be utilized for pedestrians only. Bus station, shopping center, car park, new housing would be constructed in northern side of pedestrians road by replacing shops and countryside. However, on the southern side of the pedestrians road, new housing is planned to be constructed near the unchanged park area whereas, old housing would be demolished and shifted in the southwest corner. The school and housing which is located outside portion of dual carriageway would remained untouched in future.
In the present town of Islip, the main road passes through the center of the town in which shops and countryside are located in the northern portion whereas, shops, park, housing and school are located in the southern portion. The two roads are extended to the school and park to connect it to the main road.
