The table compares the different transport means usage level by a England person in 2 years (1985, 2000).
Overall, the total of distances increases sharply during the period from 1985 to 2000, while the car was the most popular mean people tend to travel.
Between 1985 and 2000, long distance bus was used to go out rose significantly, the average distance is more than double to 124 miles per person. Similarly, the England people want to travel by taxi more, from 13 miles in 1985 to 42 miles in 2000 by a person. By contrast, the trend for Bicycle and local bus were noticeable different. There were a decline in bicycle and local bus usage, by 10 miles and 155 miles by a person respectively.

In term of other transportations, the figures is slightly climb in 15-year period. Going out by car was the vast majority in both 2 years, 3199 miles in 1985 and 4806 miles in 2000. Around 124 miles was used by a person in 2000, while this figure for others means climb by 135 miles, to 366 miles.
