Overall, the information provided focuses on the open day, the length of railways and the number of customers. Individually, London built the longest line (394 kilometers) and the shortest is of Kyoto (11 kilometers), but most of the passengers were in Tokyo (1927 million).

The first railway among six areas is London which is open in 1863, and then gradually in Paris (1900), Tokyo (1927), Washington DC (1976), Kyoto (1981) and Los Angeles (2001).
