The table below gives information about the underground railway systems in six cities

The table provides information about the railroad systems which are built beneath the ground in six different cities, namely London, Paris, Tokyo, Washington DC, Kyoto and Los Angeles, and it is compared in three category like date opened, kilometres of route and passengers per year in terms of millions. It is also worth noting that while those system in London, Paris and Tokyo are the oldest ones, they still attract more people than the others.
To specify, there are the smallest number of the kilometres of route and passengers per year in the railway systems of Los Angeles and Kyoto although they was opened recently. By contrast, in spite of being introduced in the twentyth century, those in Paris and Tokyo still have the highest amount of passengers in a year with the figure for passengers in Paris being 1191 and that of Tokyo being 1927. Besides, the underground system in Washington DC was built in 1970s but its length and passengers are mediocre. Suprisingly, despite the underground railroad in London opened sooner than other systems, its length reaches the furthest distance at 394 kilometres.
