The table illustrates the amount of money spent on advertising by different car companies in the UK in the year of 2002.

Overall, what stands out from the table is that Renault was the number one in paying out for kinds of prmotion. Additionally, TV became the most popular marketing format while the opposite was true for cinema.

Looking at the details, as regards the figure for the money used to promote their products on television, first on the list was Cetirizine with 70 million dollars followed by Vauxhall with 65 million dollars. Ranked in the third place was Renault at 59 million, compared to Rover at 45 million. However, in press advertising, the amount of money spent by Renault was significantly higher than others with 45 million, just ahead of Rover at 38 million. Meanwhile, marketing payment from Cetirizine was 12 miliion dollars as opposed to 8 million from Vauxhall.

Furthermore, 2002 witnessed a same disursement on publicization from four car manufacturers at 15 million follars each. And with less than 10 million, cinema and outdoor advertising were the least common forms chosen.
