Although It is obvious that the overwhelming majority of 70% of surveyed people prefer live music the most, they listen to this less than recorded one. However, a bit more than a quarter of teenagers like recorded music more, 26%. The remaining 4% of asked people do not have any certain preferences between live or recorded ones.
Despite the great number of japanese young people who love non recorded music, 79% of males usually use MP3-players to listen to music, whereas there are 60% of those liking live music. By contrast, almost one fifth of them use CDs. Nevertheless, the equal percentage of women chose both gadgets and live music to listen to music, about 40%. Additionally, CDs are less prefered among females too.
Overall, although most Japanese teenagers prefer live music more, they tend to listen to recorded one significantly more often.
