The table gives information about the number population in New Zealand between 2011 and 2012 followed by age group. 
Overall, it is clear that the amount of people of all ages was the most crowded; while the least for the old generation during the same time.
 Looking at the chart, starting at more than 4 million people in 2011, the figure continued to increase gradually. It gained nearly 4,500,000 people in 2012 and the percentage of change was 60%. In addition, the proportion of the population under 15 and 13-39 aged was reduced to 0,2% in 2012, about 896,364 people and 1,574,102 people respectively. 
Turning to these other factors, the number of 40-64 aged people was 1,331,907 in 2011, there was a minimal change in 2012, it raised to 0,6%, at 1,339,898 people.
