The given table describes Forest Area (in hectares) in various regions, in 1990, 2000 and 2005.

It can be deduced from the given information that the Forest Area in Africa and South America has significantly decreased. Whereas, it has increased in Asia and Europe, in the given time period of 25 years. In case of Oceania and North America, the change in Forest Area is comparatively negligible. Indeed, it can be said that the Forest Area in Oceania and North America has remained the same in the given period of time, that is, from 1990 to 2005. Oceania has the lowest Forest Area, as compared to all other regions given, for all three years under consideration. Europe and South America had comparable Forest Area in 1990 and 2000, but in 2005 the difference in Forest Area increased noticeably due to significant decrease in Forest Area in South America. Similarly, the Forest Area in the year 2000 can be said to be comparable in the regions of Africa and North America.
