The table illustrates the number of students who attend various secondary schools from 2000 to 2009.

Overall, the percentage of people who studied at voluntary-controlled schools is far greater than those studying at specialist schools.

With regards to voluntary-controlled schools, which was contributed the higher percentage of students who attending the class in 2000 (52%) and 2005(38%); however, which was experience in a significant reduction over the time span and dropped to 20% at the end of the period (2009). Although community schools was had the least amount of people at the start of the year, reached a peak point at around six of tenth in 2009.
