The bar chart illustrates the divorce rates between two European countries of Finland and Sweden between 2011 and 2015. It can be seen that the numbers of Finish divorcees fell drastically from a rate of 350 in 2011 to 300 in 2012, but rose again through the years that followed, raising at a steady fast rate of twenty percent.

The Swedish divorcees on the other hand, start relatively high at a starting point of 420 rate in 2011 and continue to raise at a twenty percent rate in 2012. However, the numbers gradually decline between 2013 and 2015, making a significant decrease of about fifty percent each decade. This led to raise in rate of Finish Divorcees from 380 to 400 in this period.

Although, Sweden continue to make up the high divorce in the two European countries, the Finish divorcee rate sharply increase in this period. In 2013 for example, shows that there were two Finish divorcees to every three Swedish divorcees, but by 2015, this rate had narrowed down to a ten percent rate of Swedish divorcees.

Overall, we can see a clear upward trend in the Finish divorcees, while the Swedish divorcees seen to have leveled off.
