The two maps below show road access to a city hospital in 2007 and in 2010.Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant

These two maps demonstrate the changes on the road entering a city hospital in 2007 and 2010. There are main three changes in the new map in order to imporove the transport around city hospital.

Firstly, the road access to the hospital was called hospital road, connecting the hospital main entrance in one end and crossing the city road in the other end in 2007. In the new map of 2010, two roundabouts were constructed at the two ends in order to alleviate the transport digestion.

Secondly, in 2007, there were six bus stops along both sides of the hospital road, which were assembled together in a bus station to the west of hospital road within walking distance in 2010.

Finally, the third change took place on the car park. In the old map, there was only one parking place for both staff and public use, located to the east of the access road. However in the new map 2010, the old parking place was for staff only and the one for public parking was built to the east of the hospital outside the ring road, which remained surrounding the hospital without any change.
