The two maps below show road access to a city hospital in 2007 and in 2010.Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant

The maps illustrate the transformation of the roads leading to the City Hospital from 2007 to 2010. Overall there appeared several new reconstructions making the area more modern.

In 2007, the City Hospital was encircled by Ring road, linked to the City Road by a straightforward road named Hospital Road. There were three bus stops on each side of the Hospital Road, and a huge car park, for both staff and public use on the east side.

By 2010, manifold changes had occurred in the area. Most notable of all were the two roundabouts built to in the junctions of Hospital Road and Ring Road as well as City Road. Between these roundabouts on the west side, three bus stops had been merged into a big one, while the other three on the east side were removed, making room for the car park, which was narrowed to specialize for staff parking. Therefore, public cars then had to go quite far along the Ring Road to the new public car park in the east, opposite the hospital.
