Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing this letter to express my interest to work as a volunteer at the Victoria Museum located near Chennai Central Railway Station. Since my college times, I have been a great admirer of the concept behind museums because of the way they help in nurturing the society. I believe that community service is essential, for it helping the locals as well as enriching my own personality.

I am a Physics teacher by profession and I enjoy when my students pose questions with reference to the subject. I am known for my patience and compassion. The department on Science experiments for children is something that makes your museum unique. In my view, these skills would turn out very helpful when dealing with visitors in the museum.

I would be occupied on weekdays with my current job. However, I am available over the weekends, particularly from 10 AM to 4 PM on both Saturday and Sunday, except for the second week of the month as I will be busy with some personal work.

Hoping to hear from you soon.

Yours Sincerely,
Shyam
