Dear Sir/Madam,

my name is Ifeoluwa aransiola, and I reside at 5A Ogunaike street, Magodo, Kosofe local government area. I am writing to notify you of the untidy state of my street, after the recently concluded public event- which led to an unpleasant sight and a general foul smell in my neighbourhood.

I must commend all your contributions towards improving the living condition of the residents in the local government area. However, I have observed a general dirtiness of the street, due to not cleaning up after the recently concluded Eyo Festival. The whole street was littered with empty bottles, leftover foods, untrashed disposable plates, nylons ,spoons and so on.

This challenge has resulted in an eyesore and a strong unpleasant odour in the environment. As you will agree, these waste items could allow breeding of germs- leading to breakout of airborne diseases.

Based on the foregoing, I would suggest you assist in communicating with the committee for the carnival, to organise cleaning of my street immediately. Also, I recommend that the government should encourage all future events committee to ensure the area is cleaned up, after any event is held.

I look forward to a favourable response from you.

Yours Faithfully,

Ifeoluwa aransiola
