You are going to spend your vacation in a city in a foreign country. You have never been there before. Your cousin has a friend who lives there. Write a letter to the friend. In your letter
• Introduce yourself
• Say why you are making this trip
• Ask some questions about the city (e.g. places to see, things to do, things to bring)

Dear Martha,

Hope you are doing good. Let me just introduce myself to you first before going ahead. this is nisha, your friend’s Neha’s sister. she was your classmate at Graphic Era University. she might have informed you about my visit to your city, bali, as I have never been there before. I am writing this letter to get some information about the country.

I have read a lot about it and I am just fascinated with its beauty and this is the main reason I decided to visit it in this holiday. you have been lucky to stay in such a beautiful city. Its always been famous for its mesmerizing views, beaches and temples. I have done some online research about bali but since this is my first visit to the country so I think you will be best person to recommend me about some hotels, restaurants and other must visit places during my stay. In addition, some tips on commuting and an idea how much currency should I carry. I intend to stay for around 8 days and would like to be on my budget.

Your help will be appreciable, as I don’t know anyone there.

best regards

nisha
