I hope this letter of mine find you and your family in ravishing health. I am writing to apologize for not being able to join you for the theater programme this weekend, that we have been planning from last month. Believe me, it is embarrassing for me as well.
Unfortunately, the reason for my disability is, this Sunday, I met an accident on the road and eventually broke my leg. I was unconscious, when I was able to gather my sense and opened my eyes I was in the hospital. Doctors told me that I have a hairline fracture in my foot, so, proper treatment for it is vital and probably two weeks bed rest. I am sorry for not being able to contact you early due to my medical circumstances. However, to remove your melancholy and lifting your mood, I have a plan to watch a movie marathon at my home this weekend. I will make all the arrangements with the help of my family and you can invite a few more friends.
On the other hand, I have contacted the theater agency they can cancel our reservations and take the tickets back, also money will be refunded after cutting minimal service charges or otherwise, you can find another partner to accompany you. Hope to hear from you soon, also kindly forgive me this time.
