You should spend about 20 minutes on this task.
You saw a brochure for a one-week walking tour in the mountains. You're very interested in taking part, but you're not very fit and are worried you wouldn't be able to keep up. Write to the tour operator. In your letter:
• Explain why you're interested in the tour.
• Ask for information about dates and prices.
• Express your concerns about your fitness level.
You do not need to write any addresses. Begin your letter as follows:
Dear Mr. Watson,
This letter regards my keen interest in your published advertisement for the upcoming one-week walking tour in the mountains.
To begin with, I must say that this tour deems so exciting which actually feels like to be an amalgamation of fitness and sightseeing which I am so looking forward to. Though it sounds so Impressive, I do have some areas of concern to share.
Elaborating on the above, I would be interested in the details for exact dates and charges for the whole trip including Food, drinks, snacks etcetera. as well as any hidden costs. Moreover, details like payment by cash or cheque would really smoothen out any gaps whatsoever.
Most important of all, I must tell you that I do not possess an athlete body and have been keeping low for a while due to a prolonged sickness. Though I am not on medicines I do lack the stamina of an active runner. In this scenario, do you reckon it could be a concern of any kind? Please share your views as it would be a deciding factor for this trip.
Hope to receive the feedback soon from your side.
Yours sincerely,
Jack Nicolson.
