Some people like to do only what they already do well. Other people prefer to try new things and take risks. Which one do you prefer?

Since the dawn of humanity, success has always been thought to be a key role in people’s life. Had people realized the significance and advantages of taking risk, they would have deliberated on it much more meticulously. Nowadays, a majority of people concur that to be a successful person in society, you should encounter risky situations, on the contrary to this popular view, there are those who subscribe to the idea that risky decisions are dangerous. In my opinion, risky life significantly outweighs those of boring life without risk. I penchant to be a risky person for some reasons, three of which-that is- primarily, learn new skills, increase responsibility, and health issue, are among the most conspicuous ones.

A subtle explanation to why I prefer to take risky decisions, rests on the fact that people should learn new things and skills like Learning a new language, study new major at university, to name but a few to solve their problems that may encounter through their lives. Take, for instance, learning a new language help people to communicate with a lot of people. If they see a problem in their lives, they will ask for an advice from more people in comparison they can only speak in one language. Consequently, people who speak more than a language, can assess a lot of solutions and choose a better one. Besides, putting the discussion I further context, the second reason why I prefer to take risk is that taking risky decisions make people responsible in their lives. Risk is a double-edge sword which make people responsible for their decisions. Last but not the least, taking risk leads to increase excitement happiness in one’s life. Statistics show that whenever a person encounter risky situations, it leads to increase adrenalin in blood. By increasing adrenalin, person feel happy and this happiness boost one’s both mental and physical health.

Having touched on the idea that aspect, I tend to discuss it from another perspective as well. Some people believe that risky decisions leads to failure. People should do things that they are professional at it. Because risk probably leads to failure and make a person depress. This may be true to some extent; however, when it comes to me, I believe that it is worth the impediments. Not only do the burdens not prevent our advancement, but also they provide an asset to build up a more mature personality that can cope with every catastrophic circumstance.

Considering the afore-mentioned arguments and discussions, we may safely arrive at the conclusion that is not rational to escape from risky situations. Life will be really boring without taking risky decisions. In this regard, a renowned Persian proverb states, “Risk is a precious gift for successful people”.

Better to have 5 paragraphs with 3 arguments. And try always support/against one side but compare two sides, like this:

para 1: introduction
para 2: reason 1. address both of the views presented for reason 1
para 3: reason 2. address both of the views presented for reason 2
para 4: reason 3. address both of the views presented for reason 3
para 5: conclusion.

So how to find out those reasons. There is a formula:

reasons == advantages or

reasons == disadvantages

for example, we can always apply 'save time', 'save/make money', 'find a job', 'make friends', 'get more information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.

or we can apply 'waste time', 'waste money', 'no job', 'make bad friends', 'get bad information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
