The professors are giving good education to the students and they are getting salary for it through the university. Some, might think that university can invest in lab or library to improve the education. I strongly agree that university should spend money on salary in order to give high level education to the students. To support my points, I want explain some reasons behind my argument.
First of all, motivation is key factor to achieve a goal which bring lots of changes in the education. Imagine that some university double the professor salary, then, professor automatically put their all effort to bring the excellent education system in their place where they work. That way, university and students will be benefited without any doubt. After of all, everyone wants handsome salary. Others, may think university should spend money other area like library, equipment and so on.
Secondly, professor may spend more for the students projects if they are well paid. For example, when handsome money in hand-they feel free spend lot more good thinks such as giving gift when students get good score in specific subject which inturn gives name and fame for the university. Professor will stay in that university long time. Many people says, it is professor duty to do his full effort why should the university encourage them. But, the fact is rewarding always reinforces the positive attitude to bring out good thinks from mind and body.
Finally, in order make sure that excellent teaching faculty work in longrun university must pay well. For example, when others offering than what the professor currently getting, then, he may switch to other university. So, university not only going to lose good professor but also it is hard for get new professor. Further, students may missing the some ways of different method of teaching which may feel more comfortable. Fewer, thinks that replacing and bring good professor not a hard taks because of the availability in the market.
To conclude, inorder to motivate, to spend more money teaching stuff and stay long in one university professor must well paid, so that, university and students will be benefits from his talent and skill which more essential elements in education sector.
