Essay topics:

In many organizations perhaps the best way to approach certain new projects is to assemble a group of people into a team Having a team of people attack a project offers several advantages.

The article states that when a project is held by a group of workers instead of individuals, it would be carried easier. The author provides three reasons to support. However, the professor explains that an experience in a factory has shown something against this view. He refutes each of the writer's reasons.
First of all, the reading claims that while every members of a group has a specific knowledge and skill, the sum of these will gain more profits. The professor refutes this point by saying that the thing that had happened in the mentioned project was opposite of this. He states that as some members were not as responsible as others, they did not do any actions and they became thoroughly "free ride". They did not contribute with other members. But unfortunately, the project was recognized by the whole team not its members and this issue upset the active members.
Secondly, the article posits that group working will implement the projects faster. However, the professor says that this matter is not true due to the existence of several ideas in the group. According to the professor, each group member has an individual view and wants to describe it. This issue will take a long time and increase the time of doing the project.
Third, the reading says that working in a team can prosper the workers' talents and they can talk about their views easier. The professor opposes this point by explaining that this has a negative effect on the members. We also learn that when one or two members are more influential than others, they try to conceive others to do the process with their view. But, this matter has reverse effect when the project become failed because the responsibility of the projects is on the shoulders of all members.
