TPO.13

The reading states we can see a great majority of problems when fossils of ancient animals, especially dinosaurs have been sold to private collectors and provides three reasons of support. However, the professor in the lecture casts serious doubt on the passage by using a number of points that are contrary to each of the author's reasons.

First of all, the reading claims that this action can miss the opportunity of people to see fossils in the museums. The professor refutes this point by saying that it is an exaggeration about private collectors. He states about greater expectations of private collectors and therefore, they provide a chance for public like schools and scientists to see their fossils. So it is a wonderful chance for public.

On another hand, the article posits that it can cause lose the chance of scientists to gain more discoveries. However, the professor describes that scientists can use them any time. According to the professor, they can examine all of the details about the fossils and collectors have provide a wide spread access for scientist to use fossils.

Finally, the reading makes it clear that, there is a few evidence of worry about destroying the fossils by collectors because they use improper techniques to find fossils. The professor opposes this point by explaining that we should appreciate these guys because they do lots of efforts to find these fossils. We also learn that, scientists' data were so limited if they were undiscovered.
