Esa Unggul University has three pillars of excellence, namely: Entrepreneurship, Information Technology, and Communication Skill. Its vision is to be a world class university based on intellectuality, creativity and entrepreneurship. Esa Unggul University's excellence lies on quality management and the implementation of Tridarma Perguruan Tinggi (Three Commitments of University), namely: Teaching and learning, Research and Community Service. Esa Unggul University has strong commitment to achieve the world class standard by developing cooperation with some international institutions for the improvement of teaching quality and curriculum as well. Moreover, EUU not only generates intelligent and critical thinkers, but also produces graduates who are capable, innovative in creating job opportunities, and well-prepared to face global competition.
EUU develops the pillar of entrepreneurship by giving provision on business motivation for new students, entrepreneurship lecture, creative business competition, and business proposal, entrepreneurship job training, business consultation as well as the creation of atmosphere, which encourages their spirit of entrepreneurship. The strategic environment is always challenging and driving the University to search innovation and new institutional values. The pillar of entrepreneurship is intended to create autonomy in work and capability for the creation of job opportunity. As we know in many countries, nowadays, entrepreneurship has become a paradigm for the development of economy and human resources.
The pillar of information technology is implemented through the application of an e-learning model equipped with e-library facilities, multimedia devices and video conference in every class, supported with integrated information system in organizing the activities of students, academic, finance, student admission and lectures. The pillar of communication is implemented through improvement of students’ language proficiency with TOEFL/TOEIC score as standard measurement.
EUU has signed some achievements from the international and national institution such as in 2012 EUU get the Best Private University in Quality Improvement Acceleration from Kopertis III Jakarta, Ministry Of Education And Culture. In 2013, EUU get the 6th rank Webometrics World Rank University of Private University in Indonesia. This is one of the achievement in order to accelerate EUU becoming excellent Private University in Indonesia.
The academic and service quality is intensively getting improved by establishing a center of excellence based on ICT (Information, Communication, Technology) . There are also 15 (fifteen) units which totally support the 11 faculties and 25 study programs in carrying out learning process.
