TPO 06 - Question 2 Some people have one career throughout their lives. Other people do different kinds of work at different points in their lives. Which do you think is better? Explain why.
In the second reason, need to argue why one career will make more money. the pattern is:
reason + why reason + advantages of reason
we may say in the second reason, like:
second, one career will make more money. //reason
1. business owners are likely to hire and pay more to those who are professionals 2. people with different jobs will waste time and energy on different resumes, training... //why reason
with more money, i can put the money for my kids' education.//advantages of reason
when there is no time left, 'advantages of reason' can be removed, but 'why reason' is always necessary.
------------
or we can use another pattern which is: reason + example
second, one career will make more money. //reason
for example, I am a doctor working at a clinic, while i can make $10,000 monthly, with extra bonus and holidays, but my friend is working as a nurse, pizza maker, computer trainer...seasonally. He is much busier than me, but earn much less than me. //example
