Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing this letter to register a complaint in regard to my housing accommodation in Lesley Halls. Jack Dorsey and I share a unit on the third floor.
Unfortunately, since the beginning of this arrangement, I have not been able to sleep well even for a night. That is due to Jack's snoring problem. He snores so loud at night that even the best earplug cannot help minimize the noise to tolerable levels. I have even tried active-noise-canceling headphones without luck.
Lack of quality sleep at night makes me quite grumpy during the day and I can't focus very well either. This problem has started to manifest itself in my grades too. From an average of A grades, I have fallen down to an average of B+.
Since there are some empty single-person rooms available on the fourth floor, I was hoping either Jack or I could relocate to one. Although that may cost somewhat more than our current arrangement, it would be a compromise we are willing to make.
