The maps illustrate some changes to city hospital’s transport infrastructure in 2007 and 2010.

It is noticeable that there are three modifications made to hospital’s vehicle access. These involved new bus station, new roundabouts and new parking facilities.

As can be seen from the map, in 2007 there were 3 bus stops on either side of Hospital Road which is no longer present by 2010. Instead of that, we can see a new bus station situated on the west side of the Hospital road which is connected to two roundabouts; one of which is at the intersection of City Road and Hospital Road, while the second is at other end of Hospital Road, at the junction with the hospital ring road.

The two maps also show the changes that were made to the staff and public car park. In 2007, both visitors and staffs shared the same parking area which is on the east side of Hospital Road and accessed via the ring road. However, this ordinary parking places is designed for hospital’s employee only in 2010. A new parking area, situated in the East side the ring road, provided parking for members of public
