ABOUT MY CITY
The scent of coffee faintly spreads throughout the region, green tea hills stretching on the highlands, rubber forests running long and wide. Wow! Each beautiful scene in the highlands made me flutter, it seemed like such poetic scenes only appeared in movies and books, but it was in front of us- Pleiku. Tran Phu Secondary School - a school we are studying is located in this vast red land. Every teacher, every student, and even our club, everyone is a child of the mountains and forests. Perhaps each person has each personality, thought, and origin, but they all have the same love for Pleiku, love the common home of all people.
Dai Doan Ket Square is located in the city centre, where people organize cultural activities and also a place to play and visit. Visitors will be more impressed with the tall statue of Ho Chi Minh is waving to the people, the image of the beloved old father of the nation standing firmly on the podium reminiscent of Uncle Ho's situation towards the people. Behind the statue of Uncle Ho, you will see with your own eyes the series of reliefs simulating the daily life, production and combat of the people.
The place associated with the lyric "Doi mat Pleiku Bien Ho day" has clear blue water all year round, with a peaceful and fresh atmosphere. Bien Ho carries the blue of the sky, the pristine white of the floating clouds, and the image of the bushes. Thanks to the wild and poetic beauty, of the green pine trees that cover the lake surface in the middle, the boats glide lightly on the lake surface. Bien Ho has been associated with the childhood of many generations of Central Highlands people and it is an indispensable piece of the puzzle when talking about Pleiku.
Provincial Martyrs' Cemetery located on Highway 19 is the resting place of more than 3600 martyrs in all parts of the country. The scent of green trees, of beautiful flowers, always pervades the peaceful, spacious campus, warming soldiers sleeping in the ground. They fell for the country to revive so that generations of descendants can have a peaceful and free life today. Over time, the provincial martyr's cemetery has become a special destination of the province. In addition to being the stop of many delegations and veterans returning to visit the old battlefield, this is also the place. so that the leaders of the province, agencies, and units come to offer flowers and light incense to thank each anniversary and important event.
