However, I beleive that advancement in technology will truly make the life easier but it will not lead to deterioration in the thinking ability. On the contrary, such advancement will create new challenges and problems that need solution. The people have to work out these problems and overcome the new challenges.
As an example, consider the new era of communications where with a single click you can reach the other side of the world. This exraordinary connection allows you to be informed with the updates in the whole world, the problems they are facing, the new ideas they have developped to solve these problems.
Another example is the use of the technology advancement in the medical treatment. Novel devices are now available that can be used to discover the disease in early stages. This allows the patients to be treated earlier. This medical advancement made the doctors busy finding new medicine for the new discovered diseases.
An additional example is your car and the pollution caused by it. Don't you think that the people have to find a solution to protect the environment from it? you can generalize this on every technological problem we face. You can not deny that the advancement in technology will lead to increase in the challenges and concequently an increas in the ability of people to think.
To sum up, the claim that the easier, life because of technology, means less thinking ability is not true. On the contrary, the technology advancement has created new challenges to think over and find solutions for.
